The Guild of St Stephen Prayer
​
O God, you accept our ministry and allow us to serve at your altar;
grant that while serving you we follow the example
of our patron, St. Stephen, the martyr, and that we may like him,
come to see Jesus standing at your right hand in the Kingdom of Heaven.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, your son.

Altar Servers help assist the priest in celebrating Mass. Our Servers are part of The Guild of St Stephen and attend the annual Diocesan Mass for Altar Servers at St Mary's Cathedral in Newcastle. They serve at both weekend and weekday Masses, funerals, weddings and at our Christmas and Easter Services and tend to be children and young people from our Parish Schools.
