It seems that we stumble from one crisis to another. The people of the Ukraine ask for our prayers. We will do just that this Saturday evening at 6.30pm, when we will have a vigil of prayer for peace at St. Joseph’s. You are very welcome to join us. We continue our journey out of lockdown by relaxing our restrictions. Can we use both sides of the church for the weekday Masses at St. Joseph’s. Reconciliation: confessions are available before the 5.00pm Mass. Just pop into the sacristy and ask. The confessionals are not quite ready yet. We are setting up new rotas for Ministries of Word and Communion. Can those who were on the rotas in the past please let us know via the Parish Secretary or myself if you are available to return. Can you help bringing Communion to the sick? Again, let me or the Parish Secretary know if you can. Thanks.

We’re getting there; delighted to see the return of many. You are all so welcome back. Synod meetings went very well. Thanks Katie for excellent facilitation. We head into Lent cautiously but also hopeful. As a preparation, there will be film event next Friday 25th at 6.30pm, when I hope to lead an evening of Lenten preparation by way of film. Forgiveness and Redemption will be the themes. All welcome. We hope to begin soon the Alpha Course. If you know of anyone interested in becoming a Catholic, or indeed anyone who wishes to reawaken aspects of The Faith in themselves, please let me know.
