Anglo-German Youth Orchestra Concert at St Godric’s – October 12th

We are thrilled to announce a unique and exciting event at St Godric’s Church in Durham City on October 12th at 7pm. The Buxtehude Youth Symphony Orchestra from Germany will join forces with our local Durham Music Youth Orchestra for an evening of spectacular classical music.

This special concert will showcase talented young musicians, performing a selection of classical pieces that are sure to inspire. The Buxtehude Youth Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Andreas Désor, has toured internationally, and we are delighted to welcome them back to Durham after their last performance at St. Joseph’s in 2016.

Ticket Information

· Adults: £5

· Children (5-15): £2

All proceeds will go to two important causes: the Durham Martyrs' Parish Support Fund, which helps families facing financial hardship, and the Mark Jon Bolderson Percussion Foundation, supporting young percussion students in the North-East.

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy beautiful music while supporting both our community and the next generation of young musicians. We’d love to see you there!
