Consecration of Russia and Ukraine

Pope Francis—united to all the Bishops and Catholic faithful around the world—will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary today, the feast of the Annunciation.

The Pope will pray the Act of Consecration around 6:30 PM, and has asked all Bishops and priests to join him spiritually in this prayer, which will be broadcast across the Vatican News channels - radio, website, YouTube, and Facebook - with English-language commentary.

You can read the act of consecration on the Vatican news website

In union with the Holy Father, Bishop Robert of our own diocese will dedicate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary at the 12.05pm Mass in St Mary’s Cathedral on the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord on 25 March. All clergy and faithful are most welcome to attend. Prayer resources are available on the diocesan website.
