Food Safety and Hygiene Training

A message for all parishioners involved in the Lunch Club, Memory Café and any other groups who provide catering services within the parish Now that Parish activities are returning to normal, this includes the provision of catering and hospitality Services within the Parish.

Anyone who is involved in preparing or serving food at Parish events must undergo Food Safety and Hygiene Training by a qualified trainer, recognised by the Local Authority Environmental Health Department. Food safety and hygiene training prevents cross contamination, food poisoning, and allergic reactions.

The Buildings and Health and Safety Committee has arranged a One Day Course on Thursday, 22nd September for those people involved in these Parish Activities. This will take place in the Jubilee Room at St. Joseph’s. A certificate is issued on completion of the Course which is valid for 3 years. Please email Mary Harrison to register your interest or for any further information.
