We wish our many great teachers a restful summer break. It doesn’t get any easier for them. The pressures, the expectation of government, the expectations of parents who, overall, are supportive and grateful. The unpredictable challenges that teachers face all go into the daily grind of modern teaching. We say a big thank you. “I am not a teacher, but an awakener.” Robert Frost. Our final Parish Council meeting until the autumn is next Tuesday. Many thanks to all the members of the Council for their time and effort. We are well blessed in our parish with willing, generous spirits who give of themselves to the many ministries. If you too are getting a break, enjoy.
