Thought from Fr. Colm - 5th March

Can I take this opportunity to remind you of the parish Lenten Talk by Professor Tom O’Loughlin on Tuesday, 16th March. None of us are sure of the post-pandemic world. None of us are especially sure of a post-pandemic church.

Let us try and define, and prepare for, whatever eventualities do come our way. Details of how to join us on Zoom are in the bulletin. You’re more than welcome. The Bishops’ Conference has just yesterday (Thursday) issued guidelines for celebrations at Easter. They are as expected, extremely cautious. I know we’re going to deeply miss some, if not all, of the drama of the ceremonies. But let’s be thankful that we are able to celebrate at all.
