Thought from Fr. Colm 7th May 2022

Please keep an eye to the concert at St. Godric’s next week. The proceeds of the collection will go to Ukraine. It was great to be back in the real world for our recent Parish Council meeting. Sadly, Margaret Wallace is stepping down as Chair. Margaret has been a rock, especially throughout the pandemic. Organising the stewards to ensure a safe return to services, she also chaired the Parish Council meetings with great sensitivity. I am delighted that Margaret is staying on the PC, and she now hands the Chair over to John Thompson. Whilst the confessionals are still not in use, please avail of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, especially before the 5.00pm Vigil Mass on Saturday. I will be available to the side of the Sanctuary at 4.30pm, and before if anyone cares to knock on the presbytery door.
