Now that we are settling into a very unsettling new year, I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your cards and gifts for Christmas. I am deeply grateful. As you know, I sadly lost my pal Ellie on Christmas Eve. She was a special gift when tied to the gate of St. Godric’s over six years ago. I think one feels a special bond to an animal particularly when circumstances are the
beginning of that story. It was very touching also to read the many messages of sympathy on Facebook and parish website.
Please be very careful in the present very threatening Covid climate. I ask those with underlying health conditions to think twice before venturing out to church.
